Construction and Civil Engineer

Purpose: This construction/civil engineering company was established in the 1960’s and directly employs approximately 35 nationals including engineers, storekeepers, draft persons/architect, administration, and accountancy staff. It aims to operate with integrity and bring a good quality design and construction service to its clients. It seeks to serve the national church by modelling excellence, profitability, and service in a challenging economic, physical and spiritual environment. Work is undertaken throughout the country comprised of projects for commercial, industrial, educational and NGOs.

Skills: There is a continual strategic advantage, to identify and recruit suitably qualified expat engineers who have experience in the construction industry, in financing projects, tendering, project and financial management. A university level engineering qualification is required together with professional registration in some form. Civil engineering is the most appropriate background, with architectural, management or financial qualifications also enhancing a candidate’s suitability. There are medium and long-term prospects to develop the company and grow the role. Working in this business would offer you an opportunity to bless the country, provide a service to an under-privileged minority community, as well as to relate to the majority community. English is the language of business; however Urdu language learning would be a requirement.

This would include elementary schools through to university level courses, ESL programs as well as Bible Colleges and Universities around the globe. Teaching internships are available to college/university students.

Support: As this placement would be long-term (minimum 2 year commitment), the international team will assist with cultural adaptation, setting up life in country and building relationships with local community members. Some teaching positions may provide a salary.

Project Manager

Position: Project Manager – IT Outsourcing Company
Finances: Standard budgeting for the region would be analyzed and discussed at time of inquiry and projected deployment.

The Cause: The purpose of this position is to provide an opportunity to have a witness within a restricted context and have a visa that provides sustainability within the country.

The Task: Your role would include leadership of the life cycle from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. This position will provide opportunity to engage locals relationally and have an active role in discipling and mentoring staff as well as interns.
